Ingredients
  

For the Donut Dough:
  • 2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast
  • ¾ cup warm milk 110°F
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter softened
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp salt
For the Cheesecake Filling:
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Churro Coating:
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
For Frying:
  • Vegetable oil for deep frying

Method
 

Step 1: Activate Yeast
  1. In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes, until it is foamy.

Step 2: Prepare Dough
  1. Add eggs, butter, flour, and salt. Knead until smooth and slightly sticky. Cover and let rise for 1–1.5 hours or until doubled.

Step 3: Shape Donuts
  1. Roll out the dough and cut into donut shapes. Let them rest for 20–30 minutes.
Step 4: Fry Donuts
  1. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry donuts for 1–2 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and drain.
Step 5: Coat in Cinnamon Sugar
  1. Mix sugar and cinnamon. Roll warm donuts in the mixture.

  1. Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
