Ingredients
  

For the Meatloaf:
  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
For the Glaze:
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard

Method
 

Step 1: Prepare the Mixture
  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, onion, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
Step 2: Shape the Loaf
  1. Transfer the mixture to a baking tray or loaf pan and shape into a loaf.
Step 3: Make the Glaze
  1. In a small bowl, mix ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard until smooth.
Step 4: First Bake
  1. Spread half of the glaze over the meatloaf. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40 minutes.
Step 5: Final Bake
  1. Remove from oven, spread remaining glaze, and bake for another 10–15 minutes.
Step 6: Rest and Serve
  1. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
