Step 1: Prepare the Mixture
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, onion, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
Step 2: Shape the Loaf
- Transfer the mixture to a baking tray or loaf pan and shape into a loaf.
Step 3: Make the Glaze
- In a small bowl, mix ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard until smooth.
Step 4: First Bake
- Spread half of the glaze over the meatloaf. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40 minutes.
Step 5: Final Bake
- Remove from oven, spread remaining glaze, and bake for another 10–15 minutes.
Step 6: Rest and Serve
- Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
